Usually the coldest places in Gujarat Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar were colder than than Naliya on Saturday. While the minimum temperature at Naliya was 12.3°C, Ahmedabad recorded 10.2°C and Gandhinagar 9.6°C.
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD) website, the minimum temperature in Ahmedabad was 2.1 degrees lower than the long-term average for the region. Northwesterly to northerly winds are chilling the region. According to the website, the minimum temperature will be near the 10°C mark over the next 2-3 days and could see a drop of two to three degrees.
Gujarat has a long coastline with varied weather conditions wherein coastal parts see pleasant weather as compared to the interior parts.
