Vibrant Gujarat: PM Modi to host dinner for 5 countries head

 PM Modi will host a dinner in Gandhinagar for the Uzbekistan President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Rwanda President Paul Kagame, Prime Minister of Denmark Lars Lokke Rasmussen, Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Andrej Babis and Prime Minister of Malta Joseph Muscat who are expected to attend the biannual Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit, which begins on January 18.
According to the state government, 15 countries have officially come on board as partners for the 9th edition of the investor summit. This year’s event will also see 11 international organisations participating in the event.
Keeping in tune with Prime Minister’ Narendra Modi’s commitment for a ‘Naya Bharat’, the 9th edition of Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit on the theme ‘Shaping a New India’ will kickstart next week.  Over 20,000 national and international delegates are expected to attend the meet.
The state’s flagship biennial summit, which will be held from January 18 to January 20, will pull in the who’s who of the business community, heads of states and policy makers from across the world. PM Modi will inaugurate the first Ahmedabad shopping festival held on the lines similar to Dubai shopping festival on January 17.  PM will unveil
this bag and inaugurate the 10-day long festival. We plan to establish a new Guinness book record for the biggest jute bag in the world. The PM will
buy token merchandise from one of the stalls.”
