Shiv Sena’s mouthpiece Saamana, on Thursday, continued praises for PM Narendra Modi and his government. The editorial said Narendra Modi taking charge as Prime Minister for the second time will make the nation stronger and that it is God’s plan.
It added that the Opposition had a concern that if Narendra Modi comes back to power, the democracy will be in trouble and Mamta Banerjee was in the forefront with this concern. Editorial said calling families of slain BJP workers to the swearing-in ceremony can’t be a reason for Mamata Banerjee not turning up for the event.
Her decision shows that she doesn’t believe in democracy, it said.
“Mamata has declined the invitation for the swearing-in ceremony. It is true that there was violence during the polls in Bangladesh. Inviting the relatives of those killed in violence cannot be a reason to refuse the invitation. They are Indians and not Bangladeshis and they have the right to be in PM’s swearing-in ceremony like anyone else,” said the editorial.
The editorial also praised Modi for not speaking anything against opponents after winning the Lok Sabha polls. “New regime will work with restraint and for humanity, Modi has shown it through his work culture. That is why the world is excited about his swearing-in. Modi’s second festival is beginning today.”
It also lauded Modi for not inviting Pakistan’s PM Imran Khan, in his swearing ceremony, saying that Modi has decided not to work against the sentiments of the people.
It is also said, “Country being led by Modi is God’s plan.”
