Only a few hours before Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman’s election Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Wednesday late night called up Arvind Kejriwal and sought Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) support for his party’s candidate.
”Nitish Kumarji called up Arvind Kejriwalji and sought AAP support for his party’s candidate. As it is not possible to vote for BJP-backed JD-U candidate”, said AAP leader Sanjay Singh.
Mr Singh also said that AAP will skip voting, if Congress does not want their support.
”If Rahul Gandhiji does not need our support for his party’s candidate, the Aam Aadmi Party has no option but to skip voting”, Mr Singh added.
The election will be held at 1100 hrs on Thursday.
