Reaction of Donald Trump: All is well!, after Iran fired 2 bases housing US troops in Iraq with 12 missiles

Donald Trump says “All is well!” after more than 12 Iranian missiles were fired at two bases housing US troops in Iraq.

Hours after the Iran-led missile attack on US troops stationed at Iraq bases, US President Donald Trump tweeted that casualty and damage assessments are ongoing but added, “So far, so good!”

Donald Trump offered no immediate indication of whether he would retaliate, and stayed out of sight Tuesday night as news of the missile strikes emerged.

The Iranian missiles came in retaliation for an American drone strike that killed top Iranian General Qassem Soleimani. Trump and his advisers are under pressure to disclose more details about the intelligence that led to the US strike.

Donald Trump’s tweeted, “All is well! Missiles launched from Iran at two military bases located in Iraq. Assessment of casualties & damages taking place now. So far, so good! We have the most powerful and well-equipped military anywhere in the world, by far! I will be making a statement tomorrow morning.”

In a tweet, Mohammad Javad Zarif said, “Iran took & concluded proportionate measures in self-defense under Article 51 of UN Charter targeting base from which cowardly armed attack against our citizens & senior officials were launched. We do not seek escalation or war, but will defend ourselves against any aggression”.
