PM must take decisive actions to ensure women, children safety: DCW chief

Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) chief, Swati Maliwal on Saturday appeals to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to take decisive actions to ensure safety of women and children.

On the occasion of birth anniversary of Baba Saheb Ambedkar, Ms Maliwal took to social media Twitter and posted,’Instead of symbolism & lip service to Baba Saheb Ambedkar on his birth anniversary, I appeal to all Govt and political parties to live his dream of uplifting women and girls. Today, @narendramodi ji please take decisive actions to ensure safety of women and children.’

Ms Maliwal on Friday started her indefinite hunger strike at Rajghat against Unnao and Kathua rape incidents demanding capital punishment to rapists.
