PM Modi, President, Union Ministers greet women on International Women’s Day

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday greeted the women folk in the country on the occasion of International Women’s Day.

In a tweet, Mr Modi emphasised on the need for leading the nation “from women development to women-led development”.

In her missive on the micro blogging site, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj wrote: “My heartiest greetings and good wishes on the International Women’s day”.
In her tweet, Information and Broadcasting Minister Smriti Irani said this is a day “to recount every journey undertaken to fulfill dreams, a day to celebrate achievements big and small; to say thank you to all the trailblazers”.

President Ram Nath Kovind on Thursday greeted women of the country and across the planet on the occasion of International Women’s Day.

”Women are the sheet-anchor of society, an inspiration for their families and for our nation.

“Happy #Womens Day to women who inspire and aspire for a better tomorrow.”
