Describing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s claim of development as another ‘jumla’, the Congress on Sunday charged the PM of misleading the country by playing with statistics and said that he is not able to count even three achievements during the four years of his government.
Addressing reporters here, Congress spokesperson Pawan Khera, referring to his latest interview, said,’ Mr Modi is afraid of media questions. So he did not address a single press conference in the last four years .’
Mr Khera alleged that the Prime Minister was giving interviews to section of the media, but before the interview, he got to know the questionnaire.
Mr Khera said that when he was asked to mention three major achievements of his government’s four-year tenure, Mr Modi refused to answer the question and said that if he only mention three achievements, then rest of the achievement would be left out .
‘Till now the whole country was saying that there is no achievement in four years of this Government. Along with the opposition parties, the people and the media of the country were also accusing that the achievement of the Modi government is nothing but now the Prime Minister is not able to tell just three achievements of his government.Through his reply to the question, he has in a way accepted that his government has not done anything,’Mr Khera said.
‘ The Prime Minister is not telling the achievements of four years, but talking about till 2022. However, the constitution has not given this right ,’he said.
