Pakistan yet again violated the ceasefire on Thursday morning and fired heavily on forward areas along the Line of Control in Nowshera sector of Rajouri district in Jammu and Kashmir.
“Pakistani Army on Thursday morning fired unprovoked and targeted forward Indian posts and villages in Nowshera,” official sources here said.
The sources said that Pak fired small arms and automatics.They said that own troops replied befittingly and strongly.
“No injury or damage was reported in the firing,” they added. Meanwhile, district administration has ordered closure of schools near LoC.
“We have ordered the closure of 71 schools near LoC in Laam area of Nowshera in view of heavy shelling,” said an official.
Pakistan on Wednesday and Tuesday also violated ceasefire by firing in KG sector of Poonch and Nowshera in Rajouri.
