A group of new Indian foreign service officers is visiting Bangladesh as part of the familiarization programme.
The Indian High Commission said 10 trainee officers, who are now on a week-long tour, met Foreign Minister AH Mahmood Ali at the Foreign Ministry on Tuesday.
Indian High Commissioner in Dhaka Harsh Vardhan Shringla was also present.
They also witnessed the signing of an MoU on Ramkola Development Project at Dinajpur District, Bangladesh under Indian development assistance.
Among other engagements, they also visited Bangabandhu Museum at Dhanmondi.
The group will leave Dhaka on February 2 for Sylhet from where they will leave for India using Dawki land border on February 4.
India sends its new officers to neighboring countries every year as part of the training.
