Former Indian Cricket Capitan M S Dhoni arrived here today for five day Shimla visit as he landed in a special aircraft at Jubberhati Airport, about 20 km from this capital town.
Mr Dhoni donning matching black T-shirt and trouser along in the shaded go-gals along with his wife Mahi welcomed by the photo journalists, Airport staff and CISF jawan when he landed at Jubberhati airport around 1230 hrs.
He rushed to Oberai hotel Wildflower among thickets of Deodar to stay their for next five days. General Secretary of errestwhile Rohru Cricket Association and incumbent Himachal Cricket and Paryavaran Sanskirit Hardayal Bhardwaj told UNI that Mr Dhoni played for Indian Airlines in 2003 in Maharaj Padam Singh Memorial Cricket Tournament at Rohru in the district.
Sharing memory with the former Indian Skipper M S Dhoni (soon after his outstanding performance at Pakistan) Mr Bharwaj where he made 148 runs in 136 balls he scored 175 runs in 35 balls for Indian Airlines at Rohru after hitting 17 sixes.
Mr Dhoni sharing his unique experience on the invitation of Rohru Cricket Association told Mr Bhardwaj that he was very happy to join the events mentioning that he could not imagine heavy crowds in tournaments in far flung area.
Mr Dhoni likely to shoot a petroleum company advertisement during his stay in hills of this capital town. Mr Dhoni also played and visit Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium at Dharmshala on the intentional Cricket Matches and during IPL in on couple of times.
