Karnataka CM Kumaraswamy said on alliance with Congress: I am in pain every day, but have to run the state

A mid turmoil between alliance partners Congress and Janata Dal in Karnataka, CM HD Kumaraswamy has said he is in pain every day while adding that he cannot reveal the reason behind it as he is responsible for the state.

“I can’t tell you the pain. From outside I may be the CM. But every day I am going through pain, but if I tell you who’ll solve the problems of the people?” Kumaraswamy said on the alliance with Congress in Karnataka.

The Karnataka CM added that he can’t reveal behind this pain as he is responsible for the state. Kumaraswamy said, “The government should run well. I should bring in confidence among officers that the government is safe. These are responsibilities on me.”

Earlier, CM Kumaraswamy had broken down at an event in Bengaluru after he spoke of the pain of a coalition government.

Kumaraswamy had said , “You are standing with bouquets to wish me as one of your brothers became the CM. You all are happy, but I’m not. I know the pain of the coalition government. I became Vishkanth and swallowed the pain of this government.”

Differences between the JDS and Congress refuse to die down. Just months after the assembly elections, Kumaraswamy broke down at an event organised to felicitate him. “The chief minister’s post is not a bed of roses, it’s a bed of thorns,” he had said on the coalition.

Soon, the allies and the BJP accused each other of poaching MLAs from their rival camps. However, Congress and JDS decided to stick to each other to stop BJP.
