Now on Valentine’s Day, Reliance Jio is the third largest telecom service provider in the country with over 271 million subscribers across India. Reliance Jio is also the tenth largest mobile network service provider in the world. So to possibly poke fun, Jio took to Twitter to post this tweet which said,
“Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
Once a neighbour in SIM slot 2,
Where are you?
Happy Valentine’s Day. #WithLoveFromJio”
Later on, Reliance Jio made another tweet which explicitly stated, “Dear @airtelindia, @VodafoneIN, @ideacellular, Happy Valentine’s Day. #WithLoveFromJio”.
The entire idea could be Jio talking about the time when they had to struggle to provide good network connectivity to their subscribers but were bogged down by poor infrastructure leading to regular call drops, low-speed internet issues etc. Jio subscribers usually utilized another SIM which used to be an Airtel, or Vodafone, or BSNL Idea network. Jio users would then leverage the two SIM cards for better call connectivity and high-speed internet.
