IPL 2019 : DC’s Rishabh rocks with 27-ball 78 gainst MI

Rishabh Pant, blasted the Mumbai Indians bowling to all corners of the iconic ground to put Delhi Capitals in a position of sheer strength, he plays at the Wankhede Stadium last night with out any signs of nervousness.

He smashed the fastest fifty against Mumbai Indians in IPL history when he reached landmark off only 18 balls. The record for the fastest fifty against Mumbai Indians was held by MS Dhoni. In 2012, Dhoni had scored a fifty off 20 balls against Mumbai.

Left-hander Pant smashed an unbeaten 78 off 27 balls (7×4, 7×6) to help DC post a massive 213 for six off their 20 overs.

Pant walked in to do battle when Delhi lost their top three batters for 112 in 13 overs and Pant blasted away right from the start.

Mumbai Indians were bowled out for 176 in 19.2 overs with injured Jasprit Bumrah absent hurt.
