Interests of farmers, poor, youth priority of govt: Yogi

Claiming that Bharatiya Janata Party government was committed to preserve the interest of poor, farmers and youth, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday said the government was making efforts to create more jobs in every sector, including agriculture.

Addressing a gathering here at Police Line ground, Mr Adityanath said many schemes will be launched to  benefit not only the workers but traders also. After inaugurating 17 new projects, he laid foundation stone  for 400 KVA Power Sub-center and over-bridge at Asafabad railway crossing here.

Highlighting the achievements of his one year government, Mr Adityanath said efforts were being made to provide benefits of government schemes to all farmers, poor and youth.
He said terror-free atmosphere has paved way for better price of crops to farmers.

Talking about industries, the Chief Minister said traders were safe in state and more facilities will be provided to them to flourish their business in the state. He said royalty on soil mining was removed which will benefit farmers and stop their exploitation.

Uttar Pradesh will be a developed state soon, said Mr Adityanath adding that all development projects will be implemented without any discrimination. He said to curb corruption in state, anti-corruption portal was launched through which any one can load audio, video of employees involved in corruption and immediate actions will be taken against them.

Speaking about glass industry, he said the government will provide every possible help to local industrialists who have done MoUs of Rs 833 crore to establish the industry here in Investors Summit 2018.  He honoured some industrialists with certificates at this moment.

Criticising the previous governments of Samajwadi Party and Bahujan Samaj party, the Chief Minister said former governments were not concerned about the plights of the farmers. He said farmers were deprived of support prices for their crops.

Mr Adityanath said remarkable changes have been made in education system on primary level to improve the quality of the education in state.
He said ‘School Chalo’ campaign will start on April 2 to aware the public about the importance of the education and to motivate them to send their children in schools.

He also facilitated cheques and certificates to beneficiaries of government schemes and launched many projects.
