Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh’s capital would be hosting the first ever T-20 international match between India and West Indies on November 6.
The International T-20 match would be played at the newly constructed Ekana stadium in floodlights.
Ekana International Cricket Stadium is a cricket stadium of international standard is the third largest cricket stadium in India with a seating capacity of 50,000 people including 48 corporate boxes and VVIP-VIP lounges.
India will play three T-20 matches against the West Indies and Lucknow would be the second venue.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) on Tuesday announced the schedule home series against West Indies set to be played from October 4 to November 11. India will play 2 Tests, 5 ODIs and 3 T20Is during this tenure.
