The Narendra Modi-led National Democratic Alliance is all set to return to power this year, according to the results of India Today Group’s E-Chunav 2019 poll, Although E-Chunav polls are not result, they may be variant. On the other side, other polls of all the news channels say that, BJP-NDA will make a government again.
According to E-Chunav 2019, the NDA will win the 2019 Lok Sabha election with a landslide majority of 326 seats.
The challenger – an alliance of parties led by the Congress, will be a distant second with 112 seats, according to the results of E-Chunav 2019. Others, which include regional heavyweights such as the Samajwadi Party and the Bahujan Samaj Party, would end up with 105 seats.
E-Chunav 2019 was an online poll carried out simultaneously with the 2019 Lok Sabha election, voting in the E-Chunav 2019 began on March 15 (three days before the first phase of the Lok Sabha polls) and ended at 5 pm on May 19, the day of the last phase of polling in the general election.
More than 2.5 lakh OTP-verified votes were cast in E-Chunav 2019. And, the result was this: The BJP and its allies at 326 seats, the Congress and its partners at 112 and Others at 105.
The results of E-Chunav 2019 more or less mirrored exit polls released Sunday evening.
Most of the exit polls predicted that the Bharatiya Janata Party-led NDA would end up with more than 300 seats. The Congress-led United Progressive Alliance, on the other hand, was predicted to be winning less than 130 seats.
All eyes now are on May 23, when the Election Commission of India will begin counting the votes cast in the 2019 Lok Sabha election. Counting will begin at 8am on May 23, a Thursday, and is expected to continue until late night, possibly even the next day.
