Encounter broke out in J&K’s Tral, 3 top commanders of JeM trapped

An encounter broke out on Saturday morning between Indian security forces and Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir’s Tral.

3 Jaish terrorists including top commander Qari Yasir are believed to be trapped at the site. Another terrorist is suspected to be Burhan Sheikh, who was being trained to be a fidayeen.

The top Jaish commmander, Qari Yasir is a Pakistan based terrorist. He was the main mastermind behind the killing of two members of the nomadic Gujjar community from a forested area in Pulwama district in August 2019.

Abdul Qadeer Kohli of Rajauri district and Manzoor Ahmed of Khonmoh area of Srinagar were abducted by JeM terrorists from ‘Dhok’, a temporary shelter, from the forested area of Tral in Pulwama district on 26th August, 2019.

Later, bullet-riddled bodies of Kohli and Ahmed were recovered by a search and rescue party. Qari Yasir was the main mastermind behind this whole operation.
