Under the leadership of BJP Pradesh president Manoj Tiwari thousands of BJP workers staged a demonstration near the residence of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal protesting against his ‘indolent’, ‘anarchic’ and ‘corrupt’ government .
Addressing the Delhi BJP workers, state party president Manoj Tiwari said,”Mr Kejriwal government has pushed Delhi 30 years back in the last three years.”
”Everywhere corruption can be seen and ministers and officers are using the bank account of each other for looting the public money. The connivance between Minister Satyendar Jain and Official Rishipal is unprecedented,” he said.
”There is a corruption on every front and developmental works in Delhi have been stalled. The image of Mr Kejriwal’s government is known through the corruption of Satyender Jain, due to which Mr Kejriwal is celebrating third anniversary among his ministers and not in public,” Mr Tiwari said.
He said the way in which this government plays drama on every problem such as stopping supply of water when ammonia is high in the water and closing the schools in the intense cold weather, the same way the people of Delhi , suffering from negligence and corruption of this government, want to dislodge this government.
He said Mr Kejriwal has been teaching lesson of honesty to all the political parties but his party’s 20 MLAs violated the Constitution by accepting Office of Profit and were later on disqualified by the President of India on the recommendation of the EC.
He said the ministers and MLAs of the AAP government were charged with committing atrocities against women and only two days ago an incident of eve teasing in a DTC bus has ashamed the entire country.
”Similarly, the people of Delhi are also shocked to witness the discrimination in giving compensation to the victims of murders especially in the case of murder of Ankit Saxena,” he said.
He said that three years ago Mr Kejriwal came to power by promising free wi-fi, water and power at half rates, opening five hundred new schools, appointing Marshals in the buses for women security, installing 15 lakh CCTV cameras, opening new colleges, providing corruption free administration etc. but failed in fulfilling the promises.
He alleged that the government has failed on the issue of women safety and has made false promises. Leader of the Opposition Vijendra Gupta said the MLAs and minister of Mr Kejriwal’s government, who came to power by showing false dreams to the people, are now openly opposing the government in the streets.
He said Mr Kejriwal’s government is not only weakening the constitutional bodies but also creating opportunities for corruption by manipulating the schemes illegally. Mr Gupta said the serious criminal charges against the ministers of Mr Kejriwal like Sandeep Kumar, Jitender Tomar, Somnath Bharati and Imran Hussain have ashamed the politics of Delhi.
He said Mr Kejriwal’s government is the first government in Delhi which does not believe in law and the constitution and several illegal acts of the government are sufficient to prove that.
He alleged that the Kejriwal government has failed in all spheres during the last three years and he has no moral right to continue as Chief Minister.
Pradesh General Secretary Rajesh Bhatia said the BJP workers will initiate a public movement against the policies of Mr Kejriwal’s government and awaken the people to dislodge the Kejriwal government which has become a curse for Delhi.
BJP workers assembled at Chandgi Ram Akhara where BJP leaders including Kuljeet Singh Chahal, Ravinder Gupta,Rajesh Bhatia and others were also present.
The policemen used heavy force against the BJP workers when they reached near the CM’s residence and used water cannon resulting in injuries to several workers including Mr Tiwari and one of them has been admitted to hospital.
