With all his guns blazing at the Bharatiya Janata Party, Aam Admi Party supremo Arvind Kejriwal on Monday went ballistic over BJP legislator OP Sharma’s derogatory remarks on AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan, alleging that the BJP wants to divide the country between Hindus and Muslims. OP Sharma reportedly called AAP’s legislator Amanatullah Khan a ‘’terrorist’’.
Reacting sharply to BJP legislators uncalled for comment, Mr Kejriwal said that the Bharatiya Janata Party wants create a divide between the Hindus and Muslims in the country, accusing the party in power of doing what the unfriendly neighbor Pakistan intended to.
Mr Kejriwal further questioned BJP saying, why did PM Modi visit Pak to meet Nawaz Sharif and why was the ISI called in to investigate Pathankot?, Delhi CM said in a tweet.
”BJP wants to divide the country into Hindu and Muslims, similar what Pakistan wants, and BJP is working to fulfill Pak’s intentions”, Delhi CM tweeted. Mr Sharma made the unseemly remark against the AAP MLA while he was making a special mention in the House on water and sewer problem in his area wherein he called Khan a terrorist here on the first day of the Monsoon session of the Delhi Assembly.
Speaker Ram Niwas Goel ordered to expunge the word from the records. Amid uproar, the Speaker adjourned the House for 30 minutes and later on the matter to the privileges committee.
Later on CM and Deputy CM also lashed out at the BJP legislator over his remarks asking him to apologize for his remarks,while some of the AAP MLAs rushed into the Well demanding action against Sharma.
