Mr Kejriwal said his government will try its best to ensure that the culprits responsible for the murder of the photographer were given strictest punishment.
In a series of tweets, Mr Kejriwal said he had talked to Ankit’s father. ‘I had spoken to father of Ankit and whatever has happened is beyond condemnation. We will ensure that the culprits are punished,’ the Delhi Chief Minister tweeted.
Mr Kejriwal said to give justice to Ankit, the Delhi government will hire topmost lawyer. ‘May God give strength to Ankit’s family and we stand with them in their times of grief,’ the Delhi Chief Minister said. Ankit was stabbed to death on Thursday night in west Delhi’s Khyala area.
The 23 year old professional photographer was allegedly killed by the family of a woman with whom he had a relationship and the woman belonged to a different community. The police said the woman’s family was against her relationship with Ankit as they both belonged to different communities.
