Amit Shah to meet Lata, Madhuri, Ratan Tata in Mumbai as part of Sampark for Samarthan programme

As part of the BJP’s ‘Sampark from Samarthan’ (‘contact for support’), party chief Amit Shah will on Wednesday meet industrialist Ratan Tata, singer Lata Mangeshkar and actor Madhuri Dixit.

Media department head of the BJP Anil Baluni said that Mr Shah will meet the personalities from the entertainment world and industry to share the Modi government’s achievements with them as part of his party’s “contact for support” campaign.

He will also urge them to support the party in the 2019 elections. As part of the programme, Mr Shah had on Monday met former Judge Justice Lahoti and Yoga guru Ramdev.

As part of the ‘Contact for support’ programme, which began on may 29, the BJP chief has set a target of meeting 50 personalities from various walks of life.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is holding interactions with beneficiaries of various government schemes as part of this programme.

As part of the programme, 4000 prominent leaders of the BJP, including central ministers, Chief ministers of BJP rules states, deputy chief ministers of these states, MPs, MLAs and senior party officials, will meet over one lakh prominent personalities and discuss with them the achievements of the Modi government.
As part of this programme, Mr Shah already met cricket legend Kapil Dev.
