AAP on Tuesday said it will move the Supreme Court on the Rafale deal.
Adressing a news conference here, AAP MP Sanjay Singh said, “On the issue of Rafale deal we are going to the Supreme Court and are sending legal notice to the Defence Minister in this regard.’
“Whether there is a defamation suit of Rs 5000 crore or Rs 50,000 crore, we are not going to be deterred at all,’ he said.
He said AAP demands formation of the Supreme Court Monitored Committee on the proceedings on the Rafale deal.
‘Setting up a JPC to probe the deal is a dilatory tactics,’ the AAP leader said.
He said that after the statement by former French President Francois Hollande, it has become clear that it is not just a scam but a major scam.
‘About Rs 36,000 crore have been looted and bribery was also involved,’ the AAP leader said.
