Almost a week after launching the ‘doorstep delivery’ , which is aimed at providing Government services at the citizens doorstep, the ruling AAP government on Sunday alleged that Opposition BJP was trying to derail the project.
Addressing a press conference, Delhi Revenue and Administrative Reforms Minister, Kailash Gahlot said,”Despite of overwhelming response to this service. It is very unfortunate that some forces are trying to derail it.”
“Opposition party BJP, I am telling this because there are many calls which are not from mobile numbers, these are from call centres. Even some people stated that they were directed by the party to disturb mobile sahayak,” the Minister stated.
Later, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in a tweet without naming anyone, said if they block our ten lines, then we will open 100 lines. “If they block our 10 mobile sahayak, then we will add 100 more. Their religion is destruction and ours is to serve” Mr Kejriwal stated.
The Chief Minister on Saturday held a review meeting on ‘doorstep delivery’. During the meeting, the Chief Minister directed to increase the call lines to 300.
The other decision includes inrease in mobile sahayaks from existing 70 to 300 and number of tele executives to 600 (two shifts).
This information was apprised by the Mr Gahlot to reporters.
On Monday, the AAP Government launched ‘doorstep delivery’ of 40 services including registration of Marriage.
