India recently suffered a 2-3 loss to Australia in their final One-day International series under the captaincy of Virat Kohli, before ICC World Cup 2019, starting on May 30 in the UK.
The Indian skipper is eager to mark his presence in the mega event as he posted a workout video of himself gearing up for the World Cup. “80 days to go,” Virat Kohli said on Twitter, starting the countdown to India’s first match in the World Cup 2019.

India have won the World Cup twice in 1983 and 2011 respectively. While Kapil Dev was the first Indian captain to lift the trophy, former skipper and wicketkeeper-batsman MS Dhoni won the trophy at home on April 2, 2011, at Wankhede Stadium. Kohli’s latest video shows that he can’t wait for the showpiece event and will be eager to become the 3rd Indian captain to win the coveted title.
