At least 18 people were killed and more than 25 injured in the thunder storm, which struck Uttar Pradesh on Sunday.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath directed all the concerned district officials to provide relief to the affected families immediately.
Principal Secretary of Information Avnish Awasthi said the highest five deaths were reported from Kasganj district, followed by three in Bulandshahar, two each in Ghaziabad and Saharanpur and one each in Kannauj, Etawah, Noida, Hapur, Aligarh and Sambhal districts.
He said 13 people were injured in Sambhal, followed by 12 in Auriyya and three in Kasganj, including a couple, who died in a house collapse.
A strong storm along with rains lashed the state, with wind speed of 50-70 kmph.
Due to the storm, road and rail traffic was affected in western and central parts of the state, while electricity in several areas was also snapped.
