Nation is celebrating the 155th birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda on Friday.
One of the greatest spiritual leaders of India, Swami Vivekananda, who was born on January 12 in 1863 had introduced Indian philosophies of Vedanta, oriental philosophies and power of yoga to the western world.
President Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid rich tributes to him on the occasion.
“My tributes to Swami Vivekananda on his birth anniversary.
In honour of this great scholar, monk and nation builder, we commemorate this day as National Youth Day,” said President in his tweet.
