Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) declared the results of GSEB Class 12 Examination 2018
Total of 1.34 lakhs students appeared for the exams out of which 98,067 passed, taking the pass percentage to 73%, whereas the pass percentage of boys is 71%. The pass percentage of girls is at 74.9%. The top scoring district was Rajkot while the sixth highest scoring district is Chota Udaipur.
This year, girls have outshined boys with a pass percentage of 74.91, while the boys have managed a pass percentage of 71.84. PCM students’ pass percentage stands at 71.29%, while the biology students managed a pass percentage of 61.29.
Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board’s Science HSC Class 12 results have seen a decline in pass percentage. In the last five years, it is the lowest result recorded. With a decline of 9 per cent from 2017, the passing percentage came down to 72.99
On the other hand, the GSEB Class 10 Exam Results 2018 is expected to be out by May 25. Nearly 18 lakh students appeared in GSEB Board Class 10th and 12th Examinations 2018.
GUJCET also releases a merit list every year which has the criteria of taking 60% weightage to marks obtained in Maths, Physics and Chemistry and 40% weightage will be given to percentile obtained in GUJCET 2018.
